This guy was amazing and wowed the crown and had everyone like, wow. Look at the faces of the judges before hand, almost dismissing him. Then he shocks them, jaws dropping and crying even - really the judges are.

You're right MathSucks, but not about your name. Math is wonderful. It rules the universe. But you are right about an underdog. There is sonmething about peoplethat come from behind or who are totally unexpected.
I don't like Opera but I felt for this guy too. I think all humans like to see things like this. Then one day when he is a big star people will delight in scandals about the poor guy.
I have no idea if he became an Opera giant or star. I don't follow Opera at all but I admit this was a wonderful video. I felt for the guy, just a regular guy with serious talent not used except in his shower.
I haven't cried for a video in a long time. This was that good to watch. Listening to him I teared up and thought wow, this man is really a fantastic singer. The hosts faces when he said he would sing opera made him out to be some joke but he showed them all.
Well, Paul has only just won the last series of The X-Factor in June 2007. He has been signed by Simon Cowell himself to produce an album....he even has his own wikipedia entry, well worth a read.
